Classical tour of China

	Day 01: in Beijing
	Departure to Beijing on British Airways flight from London Heathrow Airport .

	Day 02: in Beijing
	Arrive in the morning, met by our representative and transferred to the 4* Peace Hotel. Relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at Peach Hotel – 4* , Beijing

	Day 03: in Beijing
	After breakfast visit The Great Wall and Ming Tombs. Undulating far off into the distance, see the magnificent Great wall, the only man-made object visible from the moon, mind its way along ridges of the Northern Hills. Visit the Ming tombs, designed and selected by Emperors during their reign. Accessible only by ‘‘The sacred Way'' a road branching off the route to the Great wall which was forbidden to all but the Emperors' funeral cortege. Overnight stay at Peach Hotel – 4* , Beijing

	Day 04: in Beijing
	Visit the Imperial Palace , the Temple of heaven, the Summer Palace and Tian An Me Square. See this abiding symbol of traditional China and walk through the Imperial Palace , also known as the Forbidden City , right in the heart of Beijing . Steeped in historic majesty, stroll in the Summer Palace which lies northwest of the world's largest public square, Tian An Men square. Nearby is the Temple of Heaven , a masterpiece of the 15 th century architecture where every year, on the eve of the winter solstice, the Emperor would perform sacrificial rituals in the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.
	Overnight stay at Peach Hotel – 4* , Beijing

	Day 05: in Beijing – Yichang
	Fly to Yichang. Meet on arrival and transfer to our luxury class ship for a 4-night Yangtze River cruise.

	Day 06 – Day 8 Yangtze river cruise
	The longest river in China , Changjiang ( Yangtze River ) is also one of the most mysterious and ancient rivers in the world.As you sail long the river take in cities and villages dotted along the river and pass through the stunning Three Gorges, long associated with the myths and legends. The cruise includes land excursions, cultural activities and entertainment each day, which are organized by the cruise company.

	Day 09: Chongqing – Xian
	Arrive in Chongqing . Meet on arrival and transfer for flight to Xian – The ancient capital of China under 11 dynasties, and the starting point of the renowned Silk Road
	Overnight at 4* Garden Hotel.

	Day 10: in Xian
	After breakfast do a day excursion to tomb of Qin Shi Huang, where eight thousand of life-size terra cotta warriors and horses were unearthed in 1979, this is a sight that will simply take your breath away. Also visited are the Hua Qing Hot Springs, a favourite resort of the Emperors and the famous Wild Goose Pagoda. Overnight stay at Garden Hotel – 4* , Xian

	Day 11: Xian – Guilin
	After breakfast departure to Guilin by air , Arrival & transfer to 4* Park hotel. Guilin is a city of unique beauty in China . Most of the places of interest are within walking distance. The tour will introduce to the beautiful panoramic view of the city from on top of the Folded Brocade Hill and discover the amazing rock formations that have been formed over thousand of years in the spectacular Reed Flute cave.

	Day 12: Guilin – Shanghai
	After breakfast do a relaxing cruise with lunch on the Li River, amidst the natural beauty of mist shrouded crags and bamboo groves which have inspired painters and poets alike over the centuries. Take an evening flight to Shanghai , known as ‘‘the Paris of the East''. Shanghai , the largest city in China , offers you the chance to see the old town of Shanghai and compare the new business skyscrapers. Overnight at 4* Ramada Hotel.

	Day 13: in Shanghai
	After breakfast visit the world class Museum of Art and History. Also visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple and Yuyuan Garden . There is a chance to stroll on the lively Bund and busy shopping area of Nanjing Road . Acrobat show in the evening when available. Overnight at 4* Ramada Hotel.

	Day 14: Shanghai – London
	Transfer for direct flight back to London by Virgin Atlantic Airways. Arrive London Heathrow in the afternoon.
