Cyprus is an island situated in the Mediterranean, it basks in bright sun light all year round and is full of culture, heritage and sandy beaches. Traditional Greek food is serviced daily from the Taverns found on every corner and fresh fish is in abundance.
There are four seasons in Cyprus, summer stretches from mid-May to mid-October and means high temperatures, cloudless skies and cooling breezes from the sea.
August is the hottest month and temperatures can reach the early 90's however it's cooler at the beach and this is the ideal season for swimming, sunbathing and a whole range of water sports from sailing to scuba diving.
December and January are the months of Mediterranean winter, bringing the possibility of rain, but still an average of six hours of bright sunshine a day.
Cyprus is an island of legends with a storied past. It is reported that for 10,000 years civilizations have come and gone including Alexander the Great and Cleopatra. Aphrodite made her home on Cyprus, and the birthplace makes a ideal place to visit.

Pafos

 

The area of Pafos is formed around an ancient port in Cyprus. This was o riginally a Byzantine fort built to protect the harbour, it was rebuilt by the Lusignans in the 13th century, dismantled by the Venetians in 1570 and rebuilt by the Ottomans after they captured the island in the 16th century.

   
 

Limissol

 
This is a bustling tourist area with shops, cafes, restaurants, nightclubs and a hug variety of accommodation from self-catering apartments to five star boutique hotels. The beach stretches from one end of limissol to the other and there are public areas suitable for swimming and sun bathing as well as the resorts, which look out over the Mediterranean.
   
 

Pissouri

 
This is a small fishing village situated between Pafos and Limissol. Home to the Columbia Beach Hotel and Resort it's beaches offer the perfect place to swim.
